  Volunteers are vital to the work of Interfaith Housing Services. Since our inception, caring people have come from all across the country to make a difference. However, finding adequate housing for these groups is difficult. Part of the beauty of volunteer labor is that it allows us to keep costs low if extra costs are incurred by housing volunteers; part of their purpose is defeated. With support from key members of our community we were able to address this challenge. This, now magnificent, home will house up to 18 volunteers serving our community. Interfaith Housing Services will be making the Volunteer House available to other non-profits in the community who need housing for out of town volunteers for their mission as well. This project was made possible by support from the Conservative Anabaptist Service Program and the Center A. M. Church.
