Samantha works at the local YMCA trying to put herself through college. Saving $50.00 a month is matched 2:1 by IHS so she is able to afford tuition and books at the local community college. The IDA Program provides her with budget counseling to reach her goals.

Aimee is a single mother, working nights at a nursing home and part time as a waitress. Through our IDA Program she learned how to better provide for her children. She was able to purchase her FIRST HOME and is now going back to school to become a full time registered nurse!

THE IHS MISSION:
Interfaith Housing Services shall develop, promote, and implement programs which assist persons of low to moderate incomes to meet their housing needs.

IHS has an excellent reputation for helping people in the community with housing needs. Over the last 19 years we have:

assisted over 500 homeowners in area counties to keep their homes livable
provided 117 safe, and affordable rental units housing people with disabilities, elderly, and families
helped 34 first time home buyers acquire a home
opened 25 Individual Development Accounts
